Queen Máxima visits Emma at Work
On Tuesday morning, 14 February, Queen Máxima paid a working visit to non-profit organisation Emma at Work in Amsterdam. We were honoured to be present at this special occasion.
The visit took place at the Emma Children’s Hospital/AMC, where Emma at Work was founded 10 years ago. During her visit, Queen Máxima spoke with young people with chronic illnesses or physical disabilities who had found work through Emma at Work, as well as with their employers. Emma at Work guides young people aged 15 and older towards an independent future by supporting their development and helping them find employment.
About Emma at Work

For these young people, gaining work experience early is essential to increase their chances of financial independence. Emma at Work helps them find part-time jobs, holiday work or permanent positions.
