We take you to Malawi, Africa, where together with Ripple Africa we plant one tree for every three fruit crates we deliver. In this video, you’ll see the daily work of Ripple Africa and hear the stories of the people involved in this special project.
About the tree planting project
In Malawi, forests are disappearing faster than they can recover. Every day, trees are cut down for farming and firewood, leading to depleted soil, loss of biodiversity and rising CO₂ levels.
Together with farmers, schools and local communities, we plant new trees. This restores the soil, creates habitats for wildlife and provides jobs for local families. Each tree captures an average of 10 kilos of CO₂ per year — good for the climate today and tomorrow.
